Ergosign and WAVE-H2 – Together for an eco-friendly future

Ergosign was commissioned to create a prototype web app for visualizing the WAVE-H2 integration platform. Our task was to develop a powerful and user-friendly solution that meets the highest standards of usability, technical robustness, and flexibility.

This is crucial for promoting industry acceptance of the platform and ensuring its long-term adoption. The result is an interactive dashboard that allows users to fully explore the WAVE-H2 integration platform, test various operational scenarios, and simulate changes in the energy system.

For the development of the WAVE-H2 dashboard, we combined creative design with technical expertise, with a strong focus on usability and innovation. Our goal was to create a user interface (UI) that is both functional and visually appealing.

We first developed a comprehensive design concept, which laid the foundation for a clear and intuitive user interface that enables easy navigation through the dashboard and simplifies access to complex information. Engaging icons and illustrations were created to make complex systems and technologies more understandable, ensuring that the web app is accessible to all user groups.

In close collaboration with the University of Stuttgart, we developed customized process simulations that cover various daily scenarios, energy demands, and operational situations, such as the integration of photovoltaic systems for hydrogen production or the optimization of processes like melting furnaces using hydrogen as an energy carrier. These simulations allow users to plan and implement targeted measures for improving efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions in industrial processes via the web app.

We also ensured the seamless integration of the web app into the existing WAVE-H2 website and are responsible for hosting the WAVE-H2 prototype.

Through our involvement in WAVE-H2, we have made a significant contribution to the creation of a pioneering platform in the field of hydrogen technology. The prototype web app plays a central role in realizing the vision of WAVE-H2 as a solution for industrial applications and sustainable energy supply. Our focus was on developing an intuitive and user-friendly solution that would gain high acceptance and widespread use in the industrial sector.

The precise visualization and the ability to interactively simulate and explore various operational scenarios and process flows allow users to track the impact of changes in the energy system. This helps stakeholders from industry understand the influence and importance of hydrogen on their energy systems and establish a sustainable energy supply, significantly reducing CO2 emissions in the process.

The H2 industrial research platform sets new standards for the industry and demonstrates how innovative hydrogen technologies can contribute to sustainable development and the reduction of environmental impacts.
